Homeostasis runs entirely on your device. It has no analytics, no advertising, no third-party SDKs, and no network calls that send your information anywhere.
01What we collect
Nothing. Homeostasis does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal information. We don't know who you are, we don't want to, and the app is built so it couldn't tell us even if we did.

02Your game progress
Your run history, best cycle, DNA, unlocks, Lab loadout, and settings are saved only on your device, using the operating system's standard local storage. This data never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or anyone else.
If you delete the app, that local progress is removed with it. If your device backs up to your own iCloud or computer, that backup is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's terms — we have no access to it.
03Network & permissions
Homeostasis does not require an internet connection to play and does not ask for any system permissions — no location, no camera, no microphone, no contacts, no notifications-by-default.
If a future update adds an optional online feature (for example, a leaderboard you choose to join via Apple's Game Center), it will be strictly opt-in, governed by Apple's own privacy terms, and this policy will be updated before it ships.
04Children's privacy
Because the app collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. There are no ads, no in-app messaging, and no links that gather information.
05Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes — especially anything that would alter the "no data collected" promise — will be made clear before they take effect.

Do you really collect nothing?
Yes. There is no backend that receives your data. The game is a self-contained app that simulates one cell on your device — there's no place for your information to go.
Where is my progress stored?
In your device's standard local app storage. It stays on the phone. We can't see it, and there is no cloud account tied to it from our side.
Are there ads?
No. No ads, no advertising identifiers, and no advertising SDKs of any kind.
